Nine-year year old crippled boy is able to walk like before with Botox injections.

While browsing through the pages of the newspaper last week, I was amazed and moved on reading through this interesting article on Botox injection treatment that made a nine-year old crippled lad, walk and live life healthy. This young boy, William Scott was crippled by debilitating illness diagnosed as Perthes some two years ago, which triggered off with a pain in the left hip, wherein the socket joints began to soften and break leading to constant pain from hip to the leg. This pain eventually increased to the leg, he started limping and eventually was bound to the wheel chair. The harshness of life and cruelty by fate thrusted upon this young boy, to take off from schooling for 10 months was dealt positively. As known, Botox injections are normally used for cosmetic procedures. It was unheard of till recently, when Botox injections created miraculous wonders by treating a crippled boy completely during the 4 months course thereby enabling him to walk and lead a normal life like other kids do.

The Botox treatment was recommended by the doctors of Sunderland Royal Hospital after the surgery to relax the muscles and facilitate recovery. No one ever thought or had a vague idea that this remedial procedure suggested would create wonders and make a crippled boy walk like before. Owing credits to the recent development in science and technology that facilitated complete recovery of this young lad or term it as a miracle of fate, whatever may be the approach of looking at this unbelievable fact depends on you. The thing that remains constant despite it all, is the positive approach towards life and living maintained by the young boy throughout the period is truly inspiring, a learning experience for the sick and unhealthy.
